7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLook, no school is perfect. No school is without crime, and bullying. No school is without cliques, and moody teachers. All schools have problems. I was born in Lee County, and raised there. I have attended all of the Lee County Schools, and my honest opinion, no matter how many times I complain, is that it's a great school system. There is a homey environment. Everyone knows everyone. Everyone watches out for their friends, and the other way around. The teachers teach you how to think, as well as the criteria. The administrators, and teachers care about your well being. There are fights, and there are unruly neighborhoods near bye, but overall Lee County is one heck of a school. For all of those people who are complaining about it, why don't you send your child to Sumter county for a year, and see how they like it. Rather than caring about social status, care about the quality of the education your child is getting. I am glad to be a Trojan!Student Review10y ago - Lee County Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWonderful! We have had a great experience with our daughters since they came in 3rd Grade. All of the teachers, principal, and student helpers have been a great help and ensuring we have an awesome learning experience. We have enjoyed every meeting, every event, and everyone at this school. There are so many people moving to this area so that their kids are able to attend the schools in Leesburg. Thank you TOES for always taking great care of our kiddos!Parent Review3y ago - Kinchafoonee Primary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel it is not the norm, but our experience has NOT been a good one. My son attends kindergarten at KPS. I recently learned that when a student in my son's class talks during lunch, they are sent to what she calls the "Table of Shame". KPS only gives 25 minutes for lunch and therefore has a no talking rule, and I understand separating them from the group for breaking the rule, but Table of Shame? Shaming young students for socializing during a non-academic timeframe is hardly acceptable. Their minds and self-esteem are still developing, and such a thing can permanently damage their confidence levels and outlook on school in its entirety. Furthermore, several teachers in the school have commited grammar and spelling errors, such as using apostrophes in plural, not possessive, words. Society has begun making exceptions for such clear violations of common rules, but an educator should not be excused for such a thing. These people are supposed to be educating our children on the rules, not violating them themselves. KPS prides themselves in being an above average school, but the only thing that sets them apart is their stricter behavioral rules. Academics are the same as any other.Parent Review11y ago - Lee High School 9th Grade Campus
