1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child transferred here from a high performing magnet school. Th supports that I have observed from the minute my child enrolled have been something I’ve never seen. The school does a lot of good but us parents need to handle our children. They have placement events, weekly incentives for children, and a host of other things. Mrs. Mitchell sends weekly communication to keep parents informed. Their 8th graders have access to a free S.T.E.M. Camp! I’m sad reading these reviews. It seems like we tear down high minority schools. We send our children to schools. These people want our children to do well. My child talks about some of the normal things children do but she says they address problems at Adams.Parent Review1y ago - Chamberlain High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChamberlain School has undergone a remarkable transformation over the last five years. Thanks to the leadership of the new principal, Jake Russell, the school has made tremendous strides in overcoming its low academic performance. The school's resurgence can also be attributed to the robust support of its alumni group and the wider community, whose involvement has been instrumental in driving positive change. The recent easing of COVID restrictions has provided a much-needed boost to the school's momentum, with the introduction of brand new sports facilities and a revitalized campus. These changes have contributed to a palpable sense of school spirit and optimism among students and staff alike. Moreover, with changes to school boundaries and feeder patterns, coupled with the adoption of strong academic programs such as 3DE and Cambridge curriculums, Chamberlain is now well positioned to provide an enriched and diverse learning experience for its students. This trajectory toward higher academic achievement is an encouraging sign of the school's continued growth and success.Other Review11mo ago - Twin Lakes Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't even know where to start from the many things that I can tell. I understand I must begin by saying that Mrs. Batista (the principal) is never available to parents when something wrong is going on with the administration. To better explain myself this school does not provide the necessary aids to students with learning disabilities and they trample on the rights of these students. It takes years to evaluate childrens with special needs, in my case they even questioned the college readiness of the psychologist who had evaluated my daughter. They insisted that there was no learning disability just for not admitting the inappropriate handling of the case. Thanks to God and after carrying out multiple evaluations with other professionals who do not belong to the school or the district, they did the evaluations and the PEI. The director never show her face or expressed that she was aware of the situation or that something was being done to help the minor. Today, the special education teachers have been absent teachers and there is no good communication between them and the ones from the regular program, they are all disconnected from the reality of many students. I consider that this school has excellent teachers but it has a very bad administration.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 1205 W Hall Pl.
