4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRickards is the nastiest place I have ever been. They don't teach you much of anything and the teachers will let the kids do mainly what they want, there's probably a fight every day, and the school has 1400 kids inside of it with like 10 admin which barely give you suspension for the fights and I don't know how many times I heard of guns getting pulled out.Parent Review1y ago - Fairview Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm part of the magnet program and I can certainly say that the teachers for IB are amazing. I have noticed that the non-IB side has had a lot of issues though. From my experience, a lot of swears get thrown around and even though the school has a no swear policy, none of the students get in trouble. There is definitely a bias (from most of the staff). The teachers I have don't give too much homework (this could be because of COVID-19), and have pretty basic schedules.Parent Review2y ago - Chaires Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe best little elementary school in all of Leon County! I cannot begin to express my love for this school. They have the most personable and caring staff who truly are dedicated to helping the whole child! My children are excited each and every day to attend school! The PTO is also very welcoming and will put any parent to work who wants to have a part in helping the school. Chaires is simply the best hidden gem in Leon County!Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 1956 Millworks Way.

What Locals Say about Chaires

"The commute is decent depending on where you are going and the side of town you live on. The city is constantly growing so commutes will becoming shorter in the long run but with this being a college town probably mean more traffic and immature people being in the same place at the same time."
