    "There are always friendly neighbors walking their dogs. It’s honestly a good way to meet your neighbors and get to know them. I love how everyone is so dog friendly. Everyone is always great about cleaning up after their dogs too and not letting them run around loose and get into other people’s yard. Everyone respects each other and I love it!"

    "This is a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. It’s so close to the beach you can hear the waves. The deeded beach access allows you to leave your beach chairs on the private path, ready! so your day at the beach is a breeze. There are rarely more than 5 other people on the beach. It’s like owning on the gulf at a fraction of the cost. "

    "Dogs are welcome on the beach! You can easily walk your leashed dog on the beach. There are a number of other dogs in the neighborhood. People are very friendly. Dogs are welcome lots of places in Sanibel. "

    "Really great area. Only 4 star ratings are for traffic, which can get busy getting off island and on Periwinkle during February to April during high busy season. Public transportation comes from good Taxi services as your only option, but the island is bikable and easy to get around. Entertainment and nightlife is limited, this is an island in the the Gulf of Mexico, but good times are everywhere you make 'em!"

    "Loved our recent vacation on Sanibel Island. Very quiet and relaxing, great places to eat at fair prices. Stayed at Sandpiper Beach this time and will be back there again next year."

    "Sanibel Island is almost like living in a dream. It is the best of small town living with on-island cultural opportunities, volunteer opportunities, world-class shopping and fabulous restaurants. The bike trails are a wonderful way to get around the island and bypass traffic in season. The residents are very friendly and welcoming, truly nice people. The best feature of the island is the large amount of land that is designated as a wildlife refuge, which means that Sanibel will never be over-developed and there will always be plenty of wild areas to view wildlife or just plain enjoy the unspoiled view. Oh, and the stargazing is unreal! We love living on Sanibel Island! "
