The school has a lot of work to do regarding bullying. Teachers tend to look the other way, far more worried about checking off their daily tasks than enriching the lives of the human beings they teach. The administration is the same. They identify the kids who need assistance as the ones they get to kick out when they deviate from the norm rather than deploying interventions. If the child has no governing document (IEP/504) they are quick to subjugate them. It's super pathetic.

My son is the only mixed race child in this school. All of the teachers and students are caucasian. He is bullied constantly by other children, and then demonized for sticking up for himself. Other kids have threatened my sons and my familys life, physically attacked him while at school with scissors, but MY son was sent home with disciplinary action for standing up for himself and his family. This is a Horrible place to send your kid!...they will never learn respect or tolerance for people who are different from themselves in a place like this.

This HS is perfect location for dual enrollment. It's about 20min drive from EFSC Cocoa or EFSC Melbourne. From their old slides, in 2020-2021, 431 graduated with an AA degree. In comparison, Edgewood website states, "The Class of 2022 had 1 student graduate high school with an AA degree from Eastern Florida State College." If you're not interested in the dual enrollment program, Edgewood and Westshore are probably better, but they also have entrance requirements.
