5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunatley, this school has gone down tremendously . My son is a junior and every year has become more worse and the turnover rate even greater. There is no accountability for the students, and zero control over the students. There needs to be more security. ALso the bathrooms are disgusting, dirty or full of students smoking or vaping. Because they cant control the amount of students they lock and close them, so no bathrooms are available. If a bathroom is available there is no toilet paper and it is very unsanitary.Parent Review3mo ago - Collins Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are new to Florida. My daughter is a new 7th grader. After searching all of the Tampa area for a good public school, we landed here in FHW to attend Barrington. We heard a mix of things from parents about Barrington Middle before enrolling her. I must say I have been impressed with the school. There are typical things like an occasional fight or kids vaping- and the school is still overcrowded… but the teachers have been amazing. My daughter has felt very welcome and has met amazing kids. There are lots of things to keep parents and students involved. I feel like the team of teachers and staff truly care about students success. So happy we landed here at Barrington!Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 11585 Weston Course Loop.

"It’s quite small and centered between route 210, Waldorf, and National Harbor. Most living here are families with good jobs. Also it has become an area with steady growth in the surrounding commercial zoning locations due to the increase in residential property development. It’s a budding location with a lot of potential to offer its current and future residents."

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway).
