Description

This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from February 27, 2024
You are going to fall in love with this charmer! Very private, it's at the end of a cul-de-sac, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, bordered on two sides by canals with Gulf access, across the canal to the north of the home is Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park Marine Protected Area! Your view of nature will never be interrupted. It is perfectly situated for the Gulf Coast nature lover and/or fisherman. A welcoming front entryway brings you into an even more welcoming large foyer that opens to the dining room and the huge living room with a stone fireplace. This home beckons you to come in and set a spell. No carpeting anywhere in this house which any resident of Florida will tell you is the only way to go. There are boat davits on the canal walkway on the north side of the house and to the west there is a floating dock from which to launch your kayaks or canoes as well as an electric boat lift and electric outlets at the end of the main dock to keep your favorite toy high and dry. There's plenty of room on the sundeck from which you can watch the beautiful sunsets to the west and occasionally catch a glimpse of manatees, dolphins, otters and a plethora of Florida birds including ospreys or eagles. Next to the sun deck is an enclosed Florida room with its own split system a/c from which you can enjoy nature even on hot summer nights. Inside the house the living room and dining room areas are well-lit with lots of windows and skylights. The master bed with a walk in closet and the master bath are on one side of the house and two bedrooms and a bath on the other(see floor plan in attachments). Enjoy the huge living room with a vaulted ceiling and fireplace for family gatherings or entertaining. The home has a long lasting porcelain tile roof and it has been inspected and certified (see attachments). Come and check this one out, you know it's not going to last long.

"I commute to/from downtown Lakeland daily, right at 10 miles in an average of 19 minutes. Some days are better than others but all in all it’s not a bad commute. "

"This neighborhood is mostly safe, close (20 minute) commute to two/three small cities for shopping and dining. has a gas station, a bar or two, a few restaurants and two hair salon, of course a dollar general. One thing lacking in this neighborhood is a place to buy fresh produce in town. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to raise your family. "

"I live next door to this building. I used to find that it had friendly, courteous and quiet residents. Seems there has been a shift in it's tenants. The owners have a "Pet Friendly" policy. Would be nice if they also would provide a dog walking area for the residents to take their dogs to! Seems to have been a resent increase of dog owners who could care less about where they take their dogs and never clean up after them!!! Having my own yard means that I have to maintain my property in which I have to mow, rake and walk around in. Makes for a very unpleasant job when I have to clean up after my neighbors!! "
