5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis is my daughter's 2nd year of school here. i can really appreciate the involvement of the fairly new principal, Mrs. Flowers. she is a lovely lady and she is so kind to my daughter. she always sticks with her if she's having problems. same goes with other children. if there is any issue with your child such as aftercare issues, bullying issues, etc. she is always there and she treats everyone the same. her 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Sierra is a godsend as well. at the time, i was a sole income provider for my house. i couldn't afford a measly $5 for my daughter to go on a science museum trip. she wanted all the kids to attend so she wrote me a letter saying she would take care of it and she sympathizes with my situation. i really do enjoy the staff here, they are beautiful and have big hearts. they will always make sure your child is up to speed on classwork.Parent Review5y ago - Coconut Creek High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average1 star is too many for this school. The only reason anyone goes here is to get an automatic seat at Pompano Beach High. Trust me when I say that your child will not be prepared for the rigorous curriculum at PBHS after attending Crystal Lake. One year at that school, and my childs FSA scores dropped & reading level dropped. Tremendously. Thank goodness for the competent teachers at the middle school across town where I moved my child. One quarter, and he is back on track from all of the damage done at Crystal Lake. If you are a 5th grade parent who is in the tough dilemma of deciding which middle school to send your child to, DO NOT choose this one. Do not fall for the jazzy shows and presentations this school does to entice you to apply for their magnet program. It was 100% false advertising.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 2731 NW 1st St #1.

"Living here for the last 6 years going on 7. The neighborhood has changed tremendously and is definitely going to be a very desirable neighborhood in a few years. Only issue is the homeless population but they do not trouble anyone. I like it cause its close to major highways and lots of other services."
