"Although I work in town, I love living at the beach!! It is well worth the 25 minute commute. My neighbors are friendly and watch out for me. There are however some in my neighborhood that have very messy unkept yards which I do not like. That is probably the only negative thing that I can say. I have met good people and enjoy everyday I am here!"

"Wasn’t hit that bad by the hurricane, but the area has gotten much more dense with out of town workers that most likely do not have the best criminal history. Be mindful until residences in town become livable and the population is dispersed. "

"Commute to Panama City can be tedious, especially going over bridge as it can back up for miles. Count on traffic during the work days and over the summer"

"Living on the beach is great but you will have to watch small children more closely as they will be drawn to the sounds of the waves. On the plus side, they will truly sleep like a baby listening to the waves at night."

  • Garyrkaye
"Wonderful place to live with one exception: "Dog friendly" with horrible dog "guardians" who will smile at you as their dog leaves presents on your driveway, near your mailbox, or right in the middle of your yard while carrying a plastic bag they never use. Some residents actually have signs in their yard to be "responsible" & pick up after your pet and they will cross the street and do otherwise on their neighbor's yard. Confrontation is pointless with such self centered people; they become militant; you can't fix stupid."
