5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSurfside Middle School principle and administrators should be ashamed of the way they treat students. There are double standards all over the school. A male teacher can hug a student but a student can not hug another student without being suspended...of course only if your student is not one of their favorites.Parent Review4y ago - J.R. What Locals Say about Panama City Beach

"Extremely stressful most of the year as traffic and construction make it slow. There is a lot of tourist traffic throughout the year, meaning there is a lot of people that have no clue where they are going. Then there are a lot of work trucks, semis and various construction vehicles. I have seen it take me an hour to go a normal 10 minute drive."

"Visiting and love to visit the neighborhoods. I want to move here each visit. I am still looking for our perfect house. "

"Designated beach for dogs. But it’s not a large beach as far as dog area. Beaches on off season should allow dogs. "

"there is public transportation that goes from the west End of the beach, all the way to town. though you have to learn the map and bus system, it is fairly easy getting to where you need to be. traffic can be hectic at times especially in the summer so always plan ahead or plan to be late. that is just Florida for you. "Panama City Beach is a great community. Our neighbors and other locals have been so warm and welcoming since we moved here in January 2018. We love the beach, the dun in the Sun amd the warm weather!! We are definitely here to stay. We feel like it is important for parents to get your kids outside. Show then the beauty that our area has to offer. Whether it be biking or hiking the trails in or around the State Parks, kayaking, paddle boarding or even simply strolling down our Sugar White beaches collecting sea shells and other treasures, Panama City Beach has so much to learn about and experience. Not only do we have the World's Most Beautiful Beaches, but we also have breath taking Sunsets!!"
