5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSurfside Middle School principle and administrators should be ashamed of the way they treat students. There are double standards all over the school. A male teacher can hug a student but a student can not hug another student without being suspended...of course only if your student is not one of their favorites.Parent Review4y ago - Patronis Elementary School

They never responded to emails, phone calls and getting in touch with the counselors was near impossible, she was ALWAYS "in a meeting" or "out for lunck" I waited in the office for multiple days without ever getting to speak with her.Other Review9mo ago - Bay Virtual Instruction Program

"Beautiful homes, friendly neighborhood. Easy access to food and entertainment on our beautiful beaches. "

"Although I work in town, I love living at the beach!! It is well worth the 25 minute commute. My neighbors are friendly and watch out for me. There are however some in my neighborhood that have very messy unkept yards which I do not like. That is probably the only negative thing that I can say. I have met good people and enjoy everyday I am here!"
- Mike Hurcon

"Wasn’t hit that bad by the hurricane, but the area has gotten much more dense with out of town workers that most likely do not have the best criminal history. Be mindful until residences in town become livable and the population is dispersed. "
- Brett L.

"Neighborhood is nice. Neighbors are friendly. Area is peaceful and there is easy public access to the beach close by. "

"Commute to Panama City can be tedious, especially going over bridge as it can back up for miles. Count on traffic during the work days and over the summer"
- Azpcgal05

"Living on the beach is great but you will have to watch small children more closely as they will be drawn to the sounds of the waves. On the plus side, they will truly sleep like a baby listening to the waves at night."
- Garyrkaye

"Wonderful place to live with one exception: "Dog friendly" with horrible dog "guardians" who will smile at you as their dog leaves presents on your driveway, near your mailbox, or right in the middle of your yard while carrying a plastic bag they never use. Some residents actually have signs in their yard to be "responsible" & pick up after your pet and they will cross the street and do otherwise on their neighbor's yard. Confrontation is pointless with such self centered people; they become militant; you can't fix stupid."
- Rebecca P.

"This area seems to have friendly people here, people that I can feel safe around. This neighborhood is pretty friendly and I wish I could buy in this neighborhood in the future. "

"Grew up here. Great for riding bikes, close to beach, great for dog walking too. Easy access to boat launches"
