7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVisited the ELA teacher and assistant principal after my 7th grade son was given a poem to study " Strong women" . I asked what the poem in fact meant and asked for an explanation only to be told by the assistant principal she was not going to discuss and she appeared agitated by raising my question. Needless to say my son will not be returning to this type of administration who clearly refuse to be accountable to a parent with concerns.Parent Review1mo ago - Rymfire Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child went to this school for one year. That was one year too long. I came across only two caring teachers. Albeit I haven’t gone out of my way to meet all. Kids get bullied, and when it gets brought up to the teachers, nothing is done to rectify the situation. Epitome of laissez-faire attitude. I believe the saying “fish stinks at the head” applies to this school 100%.Parent Review10mo ago - Matanzas High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageas a current student, i can confidently say that this school drains me and other students everyday. students mental health is not a priority for many teachers, and many teachers are unfair, rude, and just dont care about the students at all. there are only a few teachers who actually accept and care for the students, as well as have a supporting, positive, and safe classroom experience. counselors provide next to no help. i am an aice student, so ive noticed the coursework is more rigorous, but i never noticed an overwhelming amount of homework. being part of colorguard (<33), playing flute for concert band, and in the steel drum program (:D !!), im generally very busy with practices and whatnot, but the only time ive stayed up really late to finish work is when ive procrastinated, so as long as you dont do that, youll be fine. the amount of fights in the 2022-23 school year was unbelievable. i couldnt go one day without running into a fight at one point. there was about 11 or 12 fights in one week at one point. thats just not safe. drug use is not well managed either. they say theyre trying but its doing nothing. then again, it happens in all fl schools so nothing special.the school is also very unorganized as far as school wide schedule changes, etc. i often didnt know an event was happening until the day of or day after, and pep rallys, assemblies and etc were often sprung on students out of nowhere.overall, the school is generally mid. as long as you kinda keep yourself out of trouble and pay attention, youll be fine. also make sure to do your research on teachers and staff you are interacting with.Student Review8mo ago - Flagler Virtual Instruction Program

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe only complaint I have is there are not enough good teachers. Very few teach the rest are baby sitters. Some are even rude to the kids. However, every problem I ever had I brought to the principle and it was solved. She can only fix it if she knows its broke!Parent Review13y ago - Iflagler-Virtual Franchise

"I recently move here from St Augustine. I love the fact that it is a community with a lot of retirees but at the same time there's a thriving economy because of all the services offered to this people. There's a lot of younger people moving in with and without kids looking for job opportunities. Great place to raise kids. The beach is only minutes away at all times. "
