"It’s quite small and centered between route 210, Waldorf, and National Harbor. Most living here are families with good jobs. Also it has become an area with steady growth in the surrounding commercial zoning locations due to the increase in residential property development. It’s a budding location with a lot of potential to offer its current and future residents."

"Best place to live in DC. It’s a beautiful neighborhood that is urban but not downtown. It’s all about the park and trail, tons of restaurants, things to do, grocery stores, markets, bar. Has its own metro in easy walking distance and a trail that connect you to the east side of the city. "

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway).
