3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is excellent. The teachers and staff work very hard to aid students in academic performance and truly care. Students have mentors, exposure to rigorous curriculum, tutors, technology, extended opportunities, etc. They have worked hard to create a safe learning environment where students not only recieved an education but on site they have access to a community center where they can recieved eye exams, dental treatments, even wellness checks and mental health counselors is necessary so basic needs are meet and can focus on school in the classroom. They care about the whole student!Other Review3y ago - Rosemont Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has a great administrative staff. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful. The Assistant principal connects with the students on a different level. The PTA group/parents are always pushing for different activities for the students and families. They have multiple resources to support the students and families in the community. I like the fact that if you have any concerns about your child's behavior or education, they have an open-door policy where you can address those concerns. I will say because they serve a lower-income community, a lot of the students come in severally behind or under grade level, which makes the school look bad. They ask daily for parent participation. I love the staff, and most teachers care about the students. This has the potential to be a great school for the community.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 4968 Lacaya Way.

"crime rate...dont go to the store after dark. keep your car locked in traffic. no activities or parks. no shopping or restaraunts. can't wait to move....dont move to pine hills it's terrible here "

"I lived in rosemont in 1983-1986. there was a country club over at the golf shop with a restaurant and tennis courts on lake Orlando. when we were looking for a home we avoided rosemont at first because of the "rumors" of crime but haven lived in college park and robbed several times as well as neighbors homes being broken into we thought we deserved to give Rosemont a chance. It has many of the things we liked about college park, the old oak tress like college park. it is close to downtown with quick access to i4 and east west. it is a perfect blend of country living with a hint of city. The homes built in the late 70's and 80 are unique and stylish and some are large. Not so large like arrogant in your face rich like isleworth or lake nona but more like a home not an "estate". Homes on the lake go for around 300k. where else can you live in a golf comuunity on the lake for that much? We did buy a home in north rosemont which is nice and we are seeing homes that were in disrepair being repaired and enhanced and have not seen or heard of any crime at all! However The downside to this whole community are the apartments which allow people to live there that have no regard for cleanliness, thus all the trash along the streets from people walking and not wanting to wait until the find a trash can or the cars driving by that throw there wrappers out of the window. Rosemont was THE place to live once before and can be again if more people came to appreciate the lake, golf course and the proximity to downtown as some of us are discovering. What is needed is for the shopping centers to be upgraded with nicer stores and restaurants. If that should happen the prices in this neighbor hood would double I believe. Rosemont was the first multi level community before celebration and before Baldwin park. it is a community that Orlando forgot and a great secret.... for now."

"I lived in rosemont in the early 80's and moved northeast. I grew up in college park and recently moved from there to north rosemont. the neighbors are friendly and many homes are being remodeled and fixed up and are more afffordable than ever. you cant go wrong with a natural lake and a Lloyd clifton golf course community! there have been problems in the past in the aprtments but that has and continues to get under control as the long term residents take back their neighborhood."
