4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has been a real lifesaver. We are informed about when things are happening at school. The teachers are extremely supportive as long as students are willing to do their part. We really appreciate the fact we have an JROTC program. We have meetings once a month that encourage parent involvement, all you have to do is show up and choose to participate. Students have mental health resources available. There are parent teacher conferences held quarterly so one can be aware of what’s going well and what areas one’s student needs help or just needs to step up one’s efforts. The workload is cumbersome when a student chooses to use their classroom time unwisely. Most teachers put their heart into teaching here at Edgewater ; it’s up to students to do their part. The school is proactive in its discipline policy. Most students comply due to this fact. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child does not feel safe in that school and the bullying is uncontrollable and I have witness two fights just outside the school when I walk up to pick up my little one the police officer just walks casually up to the kids who are punching each other. We are talking about CHILDREN pleaseeeee can you imagine this kids in high schools??
