3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWent to this school in 8th grade, was bullied everyday, told by a counselor that it was my fault which lead to my parents taking me out after a lot of awful things. Got dress coded for wearing jeans that didn't even show my skin. The teachers always ignored me when I needed help, especially in algebra. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe class sizes are fairly large leaving little time for one on one. The teacher my son was given had a lot of concerning behavior which I addressed several times. Now with less than a month of school left I finally feel like we are starting to get somewhere but its far too late. I spoke personally with the school administration before enrolling my son because of his health issues and behavior. My sons doctor advised me that my sons accommodations were not suited for him and that needed to be addressed as well. I am aware that every school has different funding. I am also aware that a school that wants to help will regardless. I do not have a lot of faith in main stream school system which I do my best to overlook. "I’ve lived here my entire life. I was born in 2000 and am turning 24 in October. Ocala has some things for little children, but it mainly caters to the adult and wealthy populations (ie, downtown & WEC). There is little to nothing to do as a teenager/young adult, or a poor person, for free or low cost. Ocala’s refusal to cater to the young adult and poor population has been a very direct contributor to the rise of drug use and violent crime. "
