The same people are recognized and celebrated while those a little more quiet go unnoticed. My daughter had a birthday and was excited to be sung to in chorus because most kids were, but the teacher did not even acknowledge her. Solos are offered to her favorites without even auditioning. Why bother trying when 75% of the class feels like they are second best? Everyone should be treated the same, and have the same opportunity to try out. I know only the best will be selected, but the same 25% of students get the offer without even trying out. "You have to have a car or you will at least need a bike to get to bus stops. Stores are far enough away that you will need a ride. The area is nice and feels safe but I wouldn’t walk alone at night here. As far as driving, most people have an automobile; there are only a very few motorcycles but not many. It takes about 15 - 18 minutes to get to SR 54. It used to only take 8 - 10 but roads are much more trafficked now. That said, it used to take about 10 minutes to get from Little and 54 to the Veterans. You can now expect that commute to take 30 minutes in rush hour. Seriously. "
