The same people are recognized and celebrated while those a little more quiet go unnoticed. My daughter had a birthday and was excited to be sung to in chorus because most kids were, but the teacher did not even acknowledge her. Solos are offered to her favorites without even auditioning. Why bother trying when 75% of the class feels like they are second best? Everyone should be treated the same, and have the same opportunity to try out. I know only the best will be selected, but the same 25% of students get the offer without even trying out. A lot of celebrations and fun activities, fundraisers and involvement.Our K teacher was amazing!
