7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's really sad to see how a school located in a community that deserves the best education isn't even receiving proper funding. It's truly sad and I really hope it gets better. The facilities are VERY run down and VERY VERY aged. I would recommend looking at other options if possible. I cant truly speak about the teachers but I know that they are known in the community for not respecting students with special needs such as 504. 1213's ETC. it also carries the sad legacy of being rated the lowest and ONLY D rated school in the entire district. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been enrolled at Miami Springs since 2022, I've had a great experience thus far, the campus is well-kept, and the faculty is professional and focused on the mental health of the students. The teachers are available for feedback and are quick to respond to emails and/or meeting requests. The administration staff are always professional and courteous, the counselors do a very good job at dealing with students being bullied and intervening to ensure the issues do not continue to happen. The security guards on campus are also very professional and efficient in keeping our children safe. Safety precautions are taken seriously at Miami Springs Middle and I am so happy i enrolled my daughter to this school.Parent Review1y ago - Miami Springs Senior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMr.Wilson is the best math teacher I have ever had and I believe the best teacher I've had for any subject and he currently [4/30/14] works there. He really just has this way of teaching that's amazingly cognitive.
