6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son just joined Maude Ives just two weeks ago me and my family moved here from Jacksonville everything was scary for him coming into a new school. The proceed to get him in the school he was zoned for was unbearable, front desk staff highly rude and disrespectful but I soon come to learn that I wasn’t the only one having issues with the front desk as I sat for a while and listened to other parents complain and the attitude they were showing towards the parents despicable. Also the teachers do not encourage or as the principal speaks in her message on their school page for your child to have an enjoyable educational experience which they fall very short of. A teacher has made beyond rude comments to my child and now I have to reach out to school boards at this point, may get a transfer to another school near by. I refuse to let my child endure this type of abuse from their teachers and staff!Parent Review1y ago - Highland Oaks Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is gifted and in 7th grade he can study subjects like Algebra 1 and Physical Science, which are usually taught much later. Next year he is going to study Geometry. The school supports his amazing progress and encourages him to reach his goals. Yes, there is homework and students are required to submit it on time, which helps them to be ready for High School and College.Parent Review10mo ago - Dr Michael M. Krop Senior High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAdministration is very rude. They think because they are in authority, they could belittle the students that attend the school. The staff turn their heads when it comes to the bullying, racism, and discrimination that goes on at Dr. Micheal Krop High school. In addition, there is a huge drug problem that has yet to be addressed. The security here are awful and very disrespectful towards the kids due to their ''high'' status. Teachers don't teach properly, hence the poor scores. Overall, the school is terrible in all departments. If you could avoid sending your child to this school, please do so! It's better for you and your child, most importantly. 0/10. Hopefully the school improves, but I'm doubtful about that.Student Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 20841 San Simeon Way #202.
