The pta has lacked this year with events and have only had 1 event which I was not able to attend due to not buying a ticket online on time when the event was capped at about 550 people in a school parking lot that definitely fits over 2,000 people as it has been done in the past years. I was told that if i did not have a ticket, i coukd not attend and cash sales were going to be an option but was also not allowed at the door. I was not going to have my daughter dressed up crying that we could not go in and enjoy a fun family night in case i was not going to be able to get in and so we missed out on the 1st school family event.Moral is very low at the school. Parents have complained to the principal, teachers, and even the district and region and no changes has been made. Parents have been told that in order to complain, a student ID is required or in needs to be in groups for any attention to be made. Parents are scared to provide student information to avoid retaliation. Lastly, well not Lastly but just to start the 2024 school year, for many years this school has done field day which has involved parents, teachers and students for 2 hrs out in the field for whomever can come and cheer your child or grandchildren or family member. It's not a lot of people that go but it's a fun time to watch your child do well in a physical activity they have been assigned to. This year the principal has only allowed 3 to 5 parents per class(classes have over 22 children) to attend. It has put teachers in a situation where a draw of names has had to be done making the students feel upset that their family can't attend, or 1st 5 parents to reach out can come. It has put the teachers in having to deal with parent complain and questions, and at the end it's a small event with 1 grade level for only 2 hrs. She can say it's for security, safety, etc. It's not fair to the child and it benefits no one. This is a public school with a very tight and hard working community and has dismantled everything and everyone.I hope she changes or find a new principal that cares for the well being of her staff and students besides numbers and stats.l and bring them to CPE so we can once be a family again as we always were!

Muy malas personas que trabajan en esa escuela todas,y los niños locos,malos y dañinos ,como lo están la mayoría de los niños de este país que cometen atrocidades,un bullying descomunal y diferencia regional y lingüística pésima enseñanza y trato.

Administration and teachers are very dedicated! Great Engineering Magnet Program. During open house, met my sons Nutrition and Wellness teacher. Interesting class. They will actually learn how to cook healthy meals.
