9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFerguson is a good school and their magnet programs are good as well. The school is pretty big but you get to have that HS experience that some others school don’t offer . Like many schools out there, some teachers are great with communication and others are ok. Is better off for students to reach out to their teachers then sometimes the parents being the one reaching out depending on the situation . The schools does have a lot of activities for the students and they do help the student with the necessary resources not just give work to give work not to help at the end with what they are being taught . I do recommend the school and don’t be afraid of the school size . If the school is good academically that’s one of the main things aside from being a school that parroted them for college . Best of luck !Parent Review1y ago - Dr. Manuel C. Barreiro Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing school!!! Phenomenal teachers, staff, counselors and administrators. Couldn't ask for a better school filled with so many exciting activities and events to join parents, students and staff members throughout the year. An incredible chorus program whose teacher is a genius at her craft. The shows are broadway bound material and prepare those students interested in going to magnet schools for the arts. The schools academics are on point and push students to higher order thinking skills raising the bar every step of the way while still meeting the needs of those in need. The communication and love between parents and teachers (at least for this mommy of 4) have formed everlasting bonds and friendships that I will treasure for years to come. On behalf of my bunch I recommend this school to everyone interested in a loving, safe, family oriented environment filled with exceptional teachers who care about their students well being and education. Not to mention who go beyond the call of duty and job title to help and guide them all. I can stress enough how special and amazing this school is. The memories you will make at MCBE are truly unforgettable!!Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 16471 SW 53rd St.
