1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageZero. Where did the teachers go to school? They don't know how to teach the kids. If you ask the child what they learned they will tell you they did not learn anything. It's very frustrating and to think our taxes are paying for these terrible schools. Therefore, I will transfer the child to another school. Also, apparently the school does not give the teachers money for supplies so the teachers ask the students for items. He is now 8 and in 2nd grade, my daughter just started Kindergarten this school year and loves it just as much as my son does! The Staff, Teachers, Principal and Vice Principal are all extremely nice and you can see how much they care for all the students. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my personal opinion, ACHS has been one of the best schools i've attended. Theres a lot of diversity and they truly care and cater to your education. At achs, i'm excelling. Although i wish the homecoming had food & don't think 20-25$ tickets was worth it because they only served bottled drinks like water and gatorade, things like this change though. "Commute is easy to downtown from Pickwick Park neighborhood. It is not necessary to get on interstate 95 or 295. Traffic moves at an acceptable pace. Pickwick park is conveniently located about 3 miles from the entrance to 295 and 5 miles from 95. I consider it to be one of the best neighborhoods in Jacksonville for accessibility."
