2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTo be completely honest, this school tried to keep me here (Ex-Student). The only reason im NOT there any more is because my FATHER HAD TO CALL THE SCHOOL TO GET THE PAPER WORK. They said it was done on May 26th, yet they never called nor e-mailed like they said that they did. I was bullied here, and got my money and items stolen, over 100$ worth. It is not safe for many people, considering there was also a threat that someone was going to shoot up the school. I would not recommend sending your child here. I only transferred recently to a different school. My experience here sucked. The school didn't do much to the issue i presented to them. I only trust a few people there. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe recently relocated here from another state and without a doubt the teachers are great! They are all very friendly and helpful. However the secretary was not so much. There was a dilemia with enrollment which was ok however the secretary was very rude and unhelpful. There was no welcoming of my child, I was not informed that the students had to wear uniforms (until another parent approached me). I didnt get to meet the principal or shake her/his hand, the secretary could not tell me who my childs teacher was, she didnt give us a tour or show us around. There was no welcoming or assistance of any sort. She had a very non enthuisastic approach. Almost an attitude of not wanting to be there. If she doesnt want to be there- I would be glad to take her place!! However, the teacher that gave us the tour was awesome!! She introduced us to everyone, was helpful, friendly, informative. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is terrible because there is too much disrespectful kids, teachers don’t know how to teach, the food is not fully cooked, it made my son sick and the school has been on the news multiple times and they also have problems of cockroaches and worms falling from the ceiling and too much fights and kids bring weapons to schoolParent Review4y ago

"Stable community, In 1970’s this neighborhood became my family home and has been since, most neighbors have lived here for over 15 years and are friendly middle class working families or retirees. There is always someone willing to talk, which can make yard work an extended social hour! "

"Cedar Hills is a wonderful neighborhood. It’s an older more established neighborhood but safe and quiet. Love morning walks with the dog. "

"I've actually lived here my entire life, but I love it. For the most part, the houses are kept up and look nice. There's not bunches of traffic other than the people that actually live here. My neighbors who have a village of kids that play outside all the time with no issues. You have a problem, just knock on anybody's door and they'll likely do whatever they can to help. It's not perfect, but it's about as good as it gets for honest working people. It's a good neighborhood. As far as family recommendations, Families with kids, singles, couples, and retirees all live around here and have for a while; they all love it too and it's a good community mix where all are welcome."
