I previously gave this school a good review but i must speak out about how the quality of the school has been in a steady decline. My child has been here for her whole elementary school years and is now in her last year (5th grade). The teachers used to be so involved with the parents, they were caring and communicated with both students and parents to make sure the kids were not missing a beat. But the past couple of years there has been a slow but steady decline in the quality of the communication, the staff and of the education in general. There are still some wonderful teachers there, however I believe the leadership (principal and vice principal who don't seem to take the parents' concerns seriously or hold our children's education to any type of standard) has a lot to do with it. If this is to be your school, just remain involved (as parents should anyway), and make sure that your children aren't silently struggling or falling behind with the curriculum.

This school is among the worst of any in duval county. Bullying is not taking serious. The teachers are COWARDS as well as the administration. The staff from the top to the bottom are only interested in collecting a check and not about the well being of the students. Couldn't get my child out of there faster enough!

This school is terrible because there is too much disrespectful kids, teachers don’t know how to teach, the food is not fully cooked, it made my son sick and the school has been on the news multiple times and they also have problems of cockroaches and worms falling from the ceiling and too much fights and kids bring weapons to school
