5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grand daughter attends CHS this is her first year there. So far it has been a positive experience for her. The teachers seem to take a honest interest in the students. The only thing I do not understand is why the rating is so low it should at least be an 8 if not a 9.Other Review10y ago - Inverness Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in 8th grade, this is her second year at IMS. We both LOVE it, and the school district in general. She is so happy and involved, and that's such a great thing to see as a mom. There are so many teachers and staff who really seem to care about the kids and mentor them.Other Review7y ago - Pleasant Grove Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to kindergarten at PGE and she loved her class and her teacher. I volunteered a lot in the school and got to know the principle and other teachers and found it a very positive learning environment. Principle Kirby is very involved in the everyday occurrences and Mr Herman seems to have the discipline side down. I wish we didn't have to move out of state because I would have loved for my daughter to be able to stay through out all of her elementary years.Parent Review9y ago - Citrus Virtual Instruction Program

"I used to live in 34450 Inverness, and I liked it so much, I've bought land, and I'm moving back. The parks are great, the churches are too. There is a sense of community. Gospel Island is the nicest area in my opinion. There is very little crime there."

"We moved here 3 years ago and I can honestly say southern hospitality does exist, i have noticed the friendliest people I have come in contact with seem to be native Floridians and the other friendly people I have met have come here from many different parts of the country to enjoy warmth, sunshine, and slower paced way of life. In closing Inverness is absolutely on of the most welcoming towns making easier to adjust when moving here from a distance. There is a lot to do and see if you enjoy nature, and community oriented festivities as well."
