8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible school, I have had the most horrible experience in this school the principal Maria Medina is even worse, she is so strict and she is literally re building the restrooms and the floors are literally filled with white dust on the ground. This is a horrible environment for kids to be around, especially for people who are allergic to dust. There are fights almost daily at this point it shouldn't even be called a school it's more like a prison. Most of the equipment such as computers are also very old and most of the computers have filtering problems, The computers are literally filled with dust too, worst school, worst principal and worst quality is what describe this school.Parent Review10mo ago - Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not perfect like all schools it has its flaws but it has excellent teachers and people that truly make your day better. I see many bad reviews out there, and although it might not be the most luxurious school, it was very nice coming here from my experience.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 855 W 71st St.

What Locals Say about Meadows Park

"It’s quite small and centered between route 210, Waldorf, and National Harbor. Most living here are families with good jobs. Also it has become an area with steady growth in the surrounding commercial zoning locations due to the increase in residential property development. It’s a budding location with a lot of potential to offer its current and future residents."

"I rarely see a dog in my neighborhood. There isn’t any dog owners on my street. I work 12 hour shifts Monday thru Friday. I leave home when it’s dark and I get home before dark most days."

"The downtown area is among the best including the bars, restaurants and local shops. The Plant Street market and Crooked Can brewery are great hangouts. The city creates fantastic holiday and seasonal celebrations in DTWG. And the surrounding neighborhoods are all connected by a golf cart district."

"I have lived here since 2017 and I absolutely love this neighborhood. It's quite, friendly, safe and very child friendly. There is never any crime and you hardly ever hear emergency sirens. Every single neighbor has been wonderful and polite except one. "

"Best place to live in DC. It’s a beautiful neighborhood that is urban but not downtown. It’s all about the park and trail, tons of restaurants, things to do, grocery stores, markets, bar. Has its own metro in easy walking distance and a trail that connect you to the east side of the city. "

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway). "20 minutes to town, one can go through downtown 25 mph or there are other roads through the countryside that have no lights and higher speed limits to get to the other end of town. 30 min to Carson City. One hour to Reno"

"Dogs that can’t be controlled by the owners. It puts you and your dog at risk because as you can imagine it’s larger dogs causing issues. Also people who may not live in your building walk dogs over in your area and leave feces."
