5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI really like this school. I'm currently in 8th Grade (as of the time i'm writing this), and the school is mostly fine.I also really like my peers (probably because I'm friends with a lot of people here), and they make me feel happy and compliant.Student Review6mo ago - Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was a not a good experience for my child. He was beat up (nose and glasses broken) and bullied innumerable amount of times. His classes frequently had teachers leave mid school year and his Math class never even had a permanent teacher- it was like a substitute every day. Did faculty try to prevent these things? Yes. But the fighting and disrespect is so out of hand I don't think even they know how to handle it. I hate to use the term "inner city" but that is exactly what this school emulates. There is nothing "warm and inviting" about it. It is survival of the fittest.Other Review10mo ago - Fort Myers High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this high school for all four years. While it has its faults, it is still an incredible school overall that prepares its students for higher learning and furthers their opportunities.Teacher Review2y ago - Heights Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here and LOVED it. I was in the gifted program and the gifted teachers there are unmatched. There are ten classes per grade level, so all kids are rightly placed. All the teachers teach well, though I wouldn't recommend teaching there (it is very cliquey among the teachers). The other thing I didn't like about this school was the lack of diversity. Everyone there was blonde haired-blue eyed christians, which I found kind of annoying. However, the IB program is very cool and the opportunities here are mediocre, but its a great school.Other Review1y ago - Cypress Lake High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff exploits the total lack of accountability. Administration targets students and families as retaliation for complaints. Under leadership of the previous principal the school received a grade A for 5 out of 7 years. With the current principal at the reigns, the school has never received an A, yet they are the 2nd highest paid principal in the district. This principal takes liberties that are not within her authority, yet the district provides no accountability. While the administration is terrible at this school, it is a product of the school board and district's example of zero accountability. Consequences for noncompliance with policies only exist for students and parents.Parent Review7mo ago - Bonita Springs Middle Center For The Arts

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTruly amazing. We homeschooled for 5 years after poor experiences with public school. We did 2 years of private school. When my son wanted to be in a jazz band, this and one other school were our options. It has been a wonderful experience for my son and our family. We are so very grateful to be at this school.Parent Review4y ago - Three Oaks Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal plays favorites with his employees. For instance, one, long time, hard working employee can be entirely overlooked and placed in new position to be replaced by a less educated and older choice from the principal. When the principal and/or school board members fail their best and brightest younger teachers, it's the students who will untimely fail.Other Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 490 Randy Ln.

"You can knock on any door and be invited in. Lots of people walking their dogs. Usually you stop to talk to the dogs owner for half an hour and not know the persons name but know the dogs name. You’ll meet them again at the shrimp fest or the sand castle competition. "

"Fort Myers Beach is a unique beach side community with mix of new condos and "old Florida" homes. Only 7 miles long with one side a continuous white sand beach and the other side a Mangrove back bay. Some of the best sunsets in the world."

"This is an excellent area of SW Florida. The island has the bests of things for all types. Great for its wide and clean beaches and easy to walk to many spots. There is a trolley that goes up and down the island and this makes it even easier for those folks who don't want or can't walk. Good shopping and good nightlife that is clean and fun and safe. "

"Perfect location on Fort Myers Beach. Very short walk to Times Square, Fort Myers Pier and restaurants. Less than 500 feet to the beach yet has dock on canal that leads out to the bay. Perfect boating location with quick access out to open water. Quiet neighborhood off the busy path yet close to everything. Quick access off the island even in season."
