        "I live on SE 13th Street in Lauderdale Harbors, which is technically a block or two south of the border with Rio Vista. I like where I live better. Why? Well it is closer to everything pretty much. The Publix shopping center is just south of 17th Street, litterally 4 blocks south. Hang a left at that same intersection and in 5 minutes you are over the 17th Street Causeway bridge and at the beach. And for working downtown I am so close that I drive my golf cart to work, it takes 8 minutes to downtown Las Olas Blvd. And finally it's literally 10minutes to the FLL Airport, which in my opinion is one of the best airports. They have to accomodate the rush of travellers that flock to the cruise ships here, which means that practically every time I fly (which is a lot because I travel a lot for work) they have at least 4 securitiy lines operating, with a total of 8 or so that they just expanded to. Truly, the easiest airport to get in and out of. And it's so close! Plus, being that close to the airport means you are also that close to 595 which takes you to I-95, so if you want to head to Miami or South Beach for dinner on the weekends you are 30mins, 40mins max drive away. (Definitely different story if you choose to drive at rushhour.. no thanks). And finally, if you are a boater, if you are in the Lauderdale Harbors area, you are literally 10minutes from the ocean, as the Port Everglade channel is literally 1/2mile away. All in all, I love it here!"
