8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExtremely disappointed with Logger’s Run middle school. Today my son who is a 6 grader came home crying with a swollen face because he got hit in the face by a 7th grader. He doesn’t know who the kid is, apparently the kid got mad because he couldn’t get the ball from my son while playing basketball. He threw my son to the ground and hit his face. My son was in shock and had no reaction, so he immediately called the the P.E, and she didn’t do anything, absolutely anything about it. My son wasn’t fooling around, my son doesn’t know this kid, and my son hates violence. Do you guys even care about your students? Specially the ones getting bullied during P.E? My son is a straight A student who always respect both all the teachers and students, who has never got into any sort of trouble during all his school years. My kid who loves going to school is now afraid to go back, because he’s afraid the school will ignore him again. I really thought you guys had a 0 bullying tolerance, 0 violence tolerance , apparently NOT.Parent Review1y ago - Waters Edge Elementary School

"I grew up in what is now the village of Palmetto Bay down in Miami-Dade County. My children went to the public schools in that same area. The area we lived in was very safe and quiet. Boca Raton is on par with that old neighborhood, but without the Miami traffic and crowds."

"Traffic for the most part is very light. Rush hour is never out of control, & dissipates quickly. Heading West in the evening rush hour is probably as bad as it gets, but it’s a welcome relief for someone that moved here from Miami. Miami is the absolute worst!!!"
