Instead of solving the issue they try to make up issues or redirect the problem or they just never respond. In person or email! 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers and staff function in an atmosphere of intimidation by Principal Roper. Principal Roper does not have a highly qualified staff of teachers. As a parent, I did not feel comfortable with my child being in their care and i strongly feel my that my child lost a year due to an unqualified teacher. It's costing me to get my child additional tutoring to catch up. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent of an 8th grade Academy student and I think this school would be great if there were more visible authority figures, more qualified and quality instructors, and the school day wasn't spent trying to keep children in order, the school year has been extended so when the kids have breaks they students who are not in intersession have skill retention activities so that they don't lose what they've learned, and their summers shouldn't be shortened because in my opinion it's not how long they spend in school but the quality of what they're learning and qualifications of the instructors to be able to reach these students.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 5210 N Capitol St NW #105.
