Join us for the Open House on Sat 5/7 from 2-4pm! Welcome to this glorious 1BR + separate den or 2nd bedroom + separate sunroom or home office at the historic Broadmoor situated in the heart of Cleveland Park. Presented in “Best Addresses” by James Goode, this big corner unit is located on the 2nd floor and provides three bright exposures and 11 windows. The 02 tier offers one of the largest 1BR floor plans in the building with a lot of flexible living space. The home is filled with lots of natural light and views of the lush landscaping and surrounding trees. This very spacious home lives like a charming bungalow and won't disappoint with all its appeal. $24,309 is deducted from the list price for the underlying mortgage = lots of savings for the buyer. The unit has been meticulously maintained and showcases: a renovated chef’s kitchen with custom quiet-close cabinets + large pot drawers, granite countertops, stainless appliances that include a built-in French door refrigerator, five-burner gas range, built-in microwave, Bosch dishwasher, under cabinet lighting and plenty of counter space top off this gourmet kitchen. The flexible floor plan offers many wonderful options. The spacious living room is perfect for entertaining small or larger gatherings and easily accommodates dining, the separate den (with doors) is an ideal work from home office or 2nd bedroom – you choose, the additional sunroom with two windows with transoms is also another charming space for a home office, reading spot or yoga/art studio. The primary bedroom is big and includes four windows and two closets. The spa-like bathroom features a shower with a bench and a frameless glass door, stone tile, newer fixtures and a linen closet. The home also showcases warm hardwood floors, high ceilings, the Broadmoor "arch", French doors, glass door knobs, sconces, plenty of wall space for artwork, an upgraded electrical panel and newer windows. The Broadmoor is a professionally managed luxury full service building on five beautiful acres. The newly renovated two-story lobby offers a 24-7 front desk / concierge and an on-site manager. The building has a fully equipped gym, guest rooms, wine cellar, secured bike room, two backyard patios & garden, an electric car charging station, maintenance staff and garage parking to rent. Metro is across the street along with shops, restaurants, the new Cleveland Park Library, Streets Market, Yes Organic, Target, Rock Creek Park, Adas temple and so much more. Enjoy hiking trails in Rock Creek Park and the weekend Farmer’s market. $24K comes off the list price for the underlying mortgage. The monthly fee includes property taxes, underlying mortgage, heat, gas, water, sewer, reserves, master insurance policy and building maintenance. See the 3D tour. So much to enjoy!

"It’s a very pet-friendly neighborhood. There are lots of impromptu sidewalk doggie play dates. Everyone cleans up after their dog. There is easy access to Rock Creek Park"

"My Family has lived here since 1938. We have a 3 rd generation home. Nice big yard for dogs. My neighbor has a pool. We just had an ally party. My next door neighbors have lived there since 1976. We have Cherry trees that line our street. Old azaleas everywhere."

"I’ve loved living here. I’ve been here 2 years and it’s been great. It can be a little bit more expensive than other areas, but this neighborhood is worth it. I moved here right out of college without a great job, but even when I was tight, I appreciated the proximity to Rock Creek, great affordable restaurants, and the metro. "

"Lived here for 5-6 years - it’s the cleanest, most “neighborhood” type place in dc. You walk to the bank and they know your name... everything is on one block - drug store, pet store, restaurants, cleaners, grocery store, bank, liquor store, clothing shops, coffee shops, bike shop etc. lots of trees and relatively zero crime. It’s a very clean cut part of dc tons of dog parks, parks, schools, trails, jungle gyms, etc. this neighborhood is bad for only two reasons - one it’s extremely gentrified - two it makes all other neighborhoods seem inadequate in convenience and cleanliness "
