Open House on Saturday November 13th from 2:00 to 4:00. This is a charming house, with a welcoming front porch and a spacious rear deck.  The inside is bright and sunny, with lovely features such as arched openings between rooms and interior French doors.  On the first level is a living room with fireplace and large front windows.  Just beyond, the dining room has a chair rail and is partially open to kitchen.  Tall French doors lead to a sun-filled family room with built-in shelving and sliding doors to the rear deck.  The kitchen has ample white cabinetry and a cheerful blue and white tile backsplash, as well as windowed bay -- the perfect spot for a breakfast table or work area. It is separated from the dining room by a breakfast bar with room for seating along one side.  Upstairs is a spacious primary bedroom with its own full bath, plus three additional bedrooms and a sunny hall bath. The lowest level is finished, with a kitchen/laundry room, a full bath, a bedroom with closet and separate entrance.  The home has a one car garage, accessed from a well-kept rear alley.  This delightful house is beautifully situated in one of the city's most convenient and popular residential neighborhoods.

  • Miranda
"I've lived here for four years. The area is a mix of families, young professionals, and students. It's not a hot spot for nightlife, but there's enough selection of restaurants and a few bars, and everything you really need (like groceries, a pharmacy, etc.) is here. It's very green and walkable, with lots of trees, well-kept front yards, and parks. It makes a great base, as both Virginia and other areas of DC are easily accessible by bus or car. Meanwhile, Glover Park is free of the noise, crowds, and traffic of some of those other areas."
