2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm glad we chose Eastern for our students. My one and only complaint is that they offer only 1 world language. Other than that, they are academically challenging and offer an amazing array of extras, like debate, a medical sci academy, all the sports, jrotc, on and on. And the full IB program! Unless you live a great distance from Capitol Hill, there's no reason to go elsewhere.Parent Review4y ago - Jefferson Middle School Academy

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a gem this school is! We absolutely love the school. Our daughter is in kindergarten and she has had the best experience here. Everyone from Principal Rivers to my daughter's teacher work very very hard to ensure success for the children. My husband previously taught elementary school for 13 years in Maryland and, before she attended Van Ness, we'd actually considered local private schools in the area. However, after this year, we are convinced that she could not receive a better education anywhere else. We will definitely be staying put!Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 1222 Carrollsburg Pl SW #B.
