4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to Windsor a year ago and we have had a fantastic experience with JFK. There are lots of activities with the children, the teachers and staff are very friendly every time I go there. The PIE (PTO) community is very welcoming. I am pleased with the decision we made to come to Windsor and would recommend JFK to any parent.Parent Review8y ago - Oliver Ellsworth School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children were here from PK3-2nd grade. This school has definitely exceeded expectations on all levels. My boys were given the best foundation for success since the first day. The school offers many specials including strings lessons (viola, violin, or cello) starting in 1st grade. The staff at OE front office, nurse and teachers are exceptional. If your child needs extra reading support, coaching or challenging the staff at OE is very responsive to your child’s needs. The leadership team at OE is one to be benchmarked. My boys will continue to love, cherish and remember their OE days for ever. Thank you OE for an amazing 5 years!Parent Review1y ago - Sage Park Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst school ever and also I say this because teachers do not care about students and mostly worried about their pay . Principals are very strict with bathrooms like for an example at this school students are not allowed to use the restroom after 2:10 ??? That's is very unnecessary because what if a students had to actually use the bathroom during that time just letting you know school ends like 2:50 nobody can't hold in for 40 MINUTES. Way too much homework for teachers not even to grade. Lots of kids skipping class because class is too hard and it's not fun anymore. There is only a 2-3 minute passing period which is not fair when classes are too far and when teachers do not care and mark you tardy which results in a detention. gym class is awful too they force you into a activity and if you do not wear sneakers or do the activity or be late to class that's a point of your grade and they are very rude the teachers and give attitude for no reason. I'm not coming backStudent Review8mo ago - Windsor High School

"I have lived in Windsor for 5 years. It has been the perfect location! I work in downtown Hartford and I take the bus into the city from a commuter lot in my town. It’s a relaxing 15min ride into and out of Hartford and as close as I am to the capital, Windsor is cute with lots of farms and the small, quaint town feel I was looking for. I’m loving it!"

"Live in the harvest Lane neighborhood for the last 9 years. One of the best places to live in the state. A very sort after neighborhood to live. Took us a while to get a house, because no one moves from it. Unless they are retiring and moving to Florida. The trails that are connected off the street that leads to Northwest Park and the reservoir for hiking are incredible. The family atmosphere is that of an extended family. The kids, the parents even the pets all know each other. We can’t ask for more from such a tranquil place we live in with so much harmony and love. #HarvestLane4Life "
