9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a nice school with some great teachers and staff. The Principal was wonderful, but is leaving. The gym teacher was replaced and I did not receive glowing reviews of the new gym teacher who apparently likes doing yoga over anything else., which doesn't fly with the kids who want to run. Problems are preferred by staff to be handled in house and often as a parent you find out too late. Be sure that something you have raised as a problem is being followed through, and you will be happy. Often much extra time is spent on particular children and the rest of the class misses out. However all that being said, it is a warm, caring environment. If you can get through the "cliques" of parents and children, you will be fine. The education is stellar, which in the end pays out.Parent Review10y ago

"A very special area, Westledge Rd and Highridge. Being so high up on a steep mountain, and a dead-end, makes the area a little world of its own. You know every car going by because there's no cut-through to anywhere. When I grew up here we all knew everyone on the street; I could sell girl-scout cookies or youth theatre tickets to practically every house - everyone knew who I was. There is wonderful forest around, ideal for playing and wandering in. Forget riding a bike to anywhere outside the neighborhood; the road is so steep you just about have a coronary getting back up. Just another factor keeping it a safe, private enclave."
