N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended MYB for pre k not knowing a word of English, the staff did a great job getting me integrated. Mrs Clark was great 27 years ago! Now my son is at the school for PK and Ms. Murphy is a superstar along with Mrs. Solomon. So very attentive and caring MYB is a great place to grow! Mr. Arciero is also a rockstar! The only thing I do not like about the school is the lack of parking. There is a roundabout but only on street parking for parents.Parent Review7y ago - Rock Hill School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere has been nothing short of horror stories in regards to the principle of this school. My family has shared these experiences along with multiple other families as she seems to feel it is her obligation and within her power to primarily handle student problem resolution without council or involvement from the school counselor and her methods have proven to be a "pit the students against each other until the majority picks one student that to take the blame. Then isolate that student and guide them through writing a narrative that has them admit that they are to blame." Many children, including my own have been seriously perturbed by these methods. I even know of a family that demanded she not handle their child in this manner, then had to go to the school board when she didn't adhere to their request. Also, aside from the principle, students have had nothing but horrific stories regarding teacher aids. From being disciplined for walking on the grass during recess, to being micromanaged to the point where they can't get up to throw away their lunch without consent.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 38 Laurelwood Dr.

"They would not like if other dog owner walk their dog without a leash. Also if they let the dog use the bathroom In someone’s yard !"

"Wallingford is a very nice Connecticut suburban town. It has the charm of a great New England community with easy access to major metropolitan areas (about 90 minutes outside of NYC); the town offers great access to two interstates and a commuter rail line. Great public and private schools with a wide array of amenities all make Wallingford an attractive place to live and raise a family. The real estate is well priced with a wide variety of small, medium, and large to estate-sized homes. The mill rate is low relative to most of Connecticut and the town has its own electric company. The East Side of town is more developed with many beautiful estates that overlook the vineyards and countryside offering beautiful, breathtaking views of the terrain and sunrises/sunsets. The crime rate is low and the town boasts many outdoor spaces that are well maintained."
