Most of the students in this school do not come from English-speaking families, and are already challenged with catching up to take the tests. As a child of a former elementary school teacher, I can tell you that Stark is a phenomenal school. The teachers are warm and welcoming and care about the well-being and growth of your child. Do not read into these scores. "minutes from I95, walk to Glenbrook train station,indoor tennis club, gym, shops. pet friendly, kids friendly, great preschools/elementary schools, walk to darien noroton heights shopping plaza: post office, stopnshop, walgreens, darien doughnuts, wine shop, pizza, book store, nails, dry cleaning etc...one of the most convenient location yet nice and quiet, ideal for jogging/walking/strolling in darien streets"
