8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to Monroe because of the schools. I have two special needs boys. I can honestly say, all of their needs are not only met but go beyond what I could have dreamt of. Problem areas are supported and worked on but also areas that their strengths are which is refreshing. The school psychologist genuinely cares about the students and will help to make sure the system gets what the kids need. My boys love weekly bunch group to talk about feeling with him and peers. I am so grateful we risked a exorbitantly long commute for the next couple years to get our boys the education that will help them be the best versions of themselves.Parent Review2y ago - Masuk High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Masuk for all 4 years of my secondary education. Despite the option to attend private schools, I opted to stay local and attend this school. Over the years, I have come to realize that the education I received while at Masuk was truly outstanding. I was blessed spend time with rigorous science teachers, phenomenal language arts faculty and highly engaged music and arts faculty who provided encouragement and a myriad of options to expand my horizons. These men and women set high expectations, created a positive, constructive learning environment and held I and my classmates to high standards. I have seen again and again how the lessons I learned while a student at this school positioned me well for future success, ultimately earning multiple degrees from Ivy league institutions, where faculty regularly commented favorably on writing skills I learned from English faculty at this school. I attended Masuk ~ 20 years ago, so I'm sure things have changed as teachers, staff and admin have moved on or retired. But if the current faculty are even a fraction as outstanding as the faculty who taught me, this is still an outstanding school.Other Review2y ago - Jockey Hollow School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSub par special needs program. Unless your child is perfect this is not the school for them. All of the special needs kids are lumped together into one setting (Down syndrome, Autism, OHI, ED, ID, speech and language impairment etc) District tries to bully special needs parents kids into giving up services. Miraculously, (sarcasm intended) the school managaes to "heal" your child and all report cards indicate they have "mastered" all of their goals.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 15 Birdseye Rd.

"We have no commun events in our neighborhood. That is why there's nothing special about our neighbors. Infact 1 of our neighbors thinks she can drive as fast as she wants. And she does! About 50 in a 25 mile zone. "
