6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMeadowside has been a great school, thanks to a winning combination of caring teachers and an awesome principal. Unfortunately, Principal Davis recently left Meadowside, to lead a Bethany school. The school start is just a few weeks away, and they have not yet found a replacement, although they spent the summer looking for one. What the new principal will be like remains to be seen. To those saying that the curriculum is dry, please understand that the schools are having "Common Core" shoved down their throats and all of the teachers are afraid of losing their jobs if the children do not perform like trained monkeys on the new tests. Common Core is untested curriculum and it profits no one but Bill Gates and his cronies, who are making billions annually on this fiasco. Since when does a technology geek get the right to decide what every child in this country must learn? And to go so far as to make professional teachers fear for their careers if the children do not live up to these dry, dumbed-down standards...beyond ridiculous. Hopefully this will quickly pass, like the "New Math" did in the 70's.Parent Review9y ago - Harborside Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think there is a perception that JLHS is not a great school for learning, I strongly disagree. The teachers of all of my son's classes are very professional, committed and concerned about teaching and having all of their student's succeed. The school administration shares that culture, especially the Principal with his regular phone call updates to parents, you always know what is going on at the school. Your child will succeed if they apply themselves, they have all of the support and resources they need at JLHS to do well.Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 81 Seemans Ln 41 #41.

"They have music in the summer, Milford oyster fest. Great 4th of July and New Years fireworks. Milford does a holiday tree lighting every year. The city has beautiful beaches, with sand castle sculpture contested, pumpkins on the pier, paddle board lessons, biking and walking trails and so much more. We recently got into pickle ball because MILFORD just put in 8 courts at Eisenhower park. You’ll never run out of things to do in this town. "
