7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNo support for kids with ADHD. They use expensive toys as “rewards” for perfect behavior with no support for kids who have difficulties with this such as listening, sitting still, attention. My concerns over this problematic system were very quickly dismissed and I was told I was wrong and that my child must not tell me everything. The teachers have responded incredibly poorly to criticism and simply don’t want to hear it. Endless harassment over the importance of attendance, use of toys as rewards for attendance- no support for when kids are having hard days. One teacher said to me “I just wish all kids learned the same!” When discussing a 504 plan, and had to walk out of another conference where the teacher showed zero sympathy and became incredibly defensive when I told her that my child had come home telling me he isn’t good enough because he doesn’t win the toys. This bribery based reward system is a PROBLEM and is the laziest form of encouragement/engagement a school could take. No room for scrutiny, they clearly only care about protecting the employees from any negative feedback. I never thought I would be so disgusted with a school system.Parent Review6mo ago - Washington Middle School

"Terrible Terrible place to live. Roaches!!!! Neighbors have familys of 6+ living in some of the apartments. My old neighbor's kids would ride bikes and play soccer upstairs above us we heard everything. The property owners are money hungry and hardly keep up with the place. But again Roaches EVERYWHERE!! They come out at night so you wouldn't see them if you saw the apartment during the day like I did."
