3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat is the point of going to this school even there is more high school near Hamden? Some teachers act like they are children. Also, they are doing a "say something" campaign but never works they just doing it for performance. I don't feel safe in school.Parent Review2y ago - Hamden Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school with terrible administration. They don't care about the children's growth or the fact puberty is a natural process. School should be shut down. All schools should be shut down. What's the point of having remote technology but not using it?Parent Review2y ago - West Woods School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWest Woods School is an amazing elementary school. The teachers care deeply about the kids and the administration is top notch. Recently, the school has undergone some needed repairs to the roof and the HVAC system. The building is older, but also has a lot of space, a nice open courtyard and a great playground. I certainly feel that my children are being taught well, and kept safe. I do have strong concerns about the political establishment, cronyism, extreme agenda and waste in Hamden as a whole and these do have an impact on the school system (and our incredibly high taxes), but West Woods School truly is an wonderful place to learn.Parent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 32 Hideaway Ln.
