This school is a joke. I have had a terrible experience with my daughter here.

My experience at this school with my son with ADHD and ASD has been a nightmare! Instead of working with the parents and having and open line of communication when and issue arises, they call DCF for very minor things, effectively turning your world upside down for six months to a year. They would rather suggest phycologists and medications right off the bad, than take the time and energy to work with your child and yourself to come up with something conducive and healthy for everyone. When another parent here left a review saying this school was “trigger happy” with this stuff...They weren’t lying!

I have been very impressed with the teaching staff, besides being approachable, the teachers really care that the kids understand the material. My son never complained about going to school, I feel independence and respect for others are promoted at Elliot

The NEW Morgan School opened in Clinton in September of 2016. This new state of the art facility provides one of the nicest learning environments for our students in the state of CT. The rooms are set up in a way to foster collaboration amongst students and teachers. Floor to ceiling windows let welcome natural light into all of the classrooms. There is not a bad seat in the gorgeous auditorium. The school looks and feels like a true campus. All of our high school students are also provided with Chrome books, and technology has significantly improved. According to my son, overall morale has improved since they have moved into this new learning facility. My son is taking challenging courses, Honors and AP classes, as well as College Prep courses. His teachers and administration genuinely care about the students. Students often lead and assist with school orientations and open houses, etc. There are also clubs for just about every activity and hobby one can think of. Sports are also popular, and have increased school spirit.
