5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers at Gateway are great. The principal, Ashley Lawson, leaves alot to be desired. I spoke with her on a few occasions about some issues we had and nothing got done. She would never return emails or calls. I would have to show up unannounced to speak with her. I spoke to the superintendent and wrote a formal letter to the school board about her actions, or lack thereof. Nothing happened. We decided to pull our kids from Gateway and to homeschool. I just could not in my right mind leave my children around that woman. I would also look into the high turnover rate of teachers at Gateway. There is reasons for this.Parent Review2y ago - Woodland Park High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethe school used to be great but then was fallen victim to poor leadership. the halls were covered in beautiful murals and art. kids were allowed to express themselves and cared about learning. then a new school board took over and everyone suffered. teachers, students, everyone.Student Review7mo ago - Woodland Park Middle School

"Easy access to everything in off seasons but once it’s tourist season it’s very difficult to get about. Due to large amounts of ppl and traffic and the fact the town is and was built to be a small town/community "

"I have never attended a community event. The cost of living up here is overpriced. There are not many options available in regards to restaurants. Woodland Park also lacks jobs, making it hard not to work in The Springs. The only good thing about living up here is nature. "

"If you live at Trail Ridge, people need to pick up their dog poop or it will be traced back to their dog by DNA. It's an agreement with the leasing company. The apartment complex does have a nice dark park exclusive to the tenants. "
