Walking distance to the ski slopes and town, this contemporary 4.5 bedroom / 5 bathroom chalet is the epitome of modern comfort and convenience. Surrounded by pine trees overlooking a serene mountain pond, you are completely insulated from the outside world yet only steps away from the ski slopes ( 5-minute walk to Lionshead Gondola) and all the action (12-minute walk/ 5-minute drive) to Vail Village.
The space
The modern design includes floor to ceiling windows, some reaching over 20 feet in height, that bring in ample natural sunlight. Enjoy unobstructed views of both the private pond as well as Golden Peak mountain where elite downhill ski racers compete during the winter- a calming backdrop during the workday. Once the work is over (on or off the slopes) take a dip in the hot tub or unwind with a mountain margarita around the outdoor fire pit, while the grillmaster whips up some appetizers and you take in the fresh mountain air. The outdoor patio is also furnished with a dining table, two outdoor heaters, and a sun umbrella during the warmer months for the outdoor enthusiasts who prefer dining al fresco.
~Common Areas~
The interior of the 2.5 story chalet is a minimalist aesthetic with neutral tones creating an elegant yet cozy feel.
The main floor has a serene and spacious open floor plan including a large dining room table that comfortably seats 8 guests (with additional bar seating for 6) and an intimate living room surrounding a natural wood-burning fireplace perfectly situated for a late-night S'mores session.
The multi-functional gourmet chef kitchen is tricked out with all the state of the art appliances a chef desires from staples such as Instapots and Kitchen Aids to European fondue and raclette sets.
For those working at home, there are also several quiet nooks to retreat to during the workday, including a lofted office outfitted with a scanner and printer as well as a small breakfast alcove that seats 8 guests and features its own fireplace.
Not to be missed, the cozy cinema and game room is the prime location for family movie nights or heated games of Monopoly and showcases a 60-inch flat-screen tv with surround sound.
~Bedrooms~
There are 4 spacious bedrooms (3 kings including the Master bedroom, and 1 bedroom with 2 Queen beds) each of which includes an ensuite bathroom and a flatscreen tv. The Master bedroom includes a private balcony, flat-screen tv, two walk-in closets, steam shower, separate bathtub, two sinks, and a private washer dryer in unit.
In addition to the four formal bedrooms, the upstairs loft which doubles as an office is equipped with a pullout queen bed and can easily be converted into a fifth bedroom. The fifth bathroom at the base of the loft includes a full shower.
Open to short stays (minimum of 3 days) in addition to monthly rentals. Please reach out for details.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was a real eye opener after moving from an inner-city school mentality. It is has many of the features of a private school due to some of the very generous parent donations . After having two of my children graduate from BMHS, I have to say that I am glad they received an education in the Eagle County. The only complaint I have is. I never found a way to connect with other parents. I was not asked to volunteer and it was difficult for my teens find their niche with the other students. On the plus side, it has a stellar science department which not only taught my children the fundamentals of science, but instilled a passion in my youngest for science that I never thought existed! This includes the Social Sciences taught by Mr Phelan, who provided my teens with a journey of self discovery which none of us will soon forget. A math department that is becoming stronger and more stable everyday thanks to some great leadership and finally a foreign language department that is truly unique. I could go on forever but by now I think you all get my point. Great academic opportunities, not so great inclusion for new community members. ~klParent Review10y ago - Red Sandstone Elementary School

"Teach your kids how to walk on the sidewalk and not in the shoulder of the road, 5 feet away. Also, go the speed limit, if someone flashed their lights at you, you’re either going too slow or you’re going to fast, and they are warning you that the fuzz is ahead. Simple logic you would think, but not so simple anymore"
