The teachers don't care about teaching students, they are just getting a pay check so they can live near a ski resort. They would rather play than work. We left Steamboat because of the education system in Colorado. We found that Texas education standards are much higher and the teacher actually care for their students. We have had two kids go through the school, both of whom were bullied very badly. The staff and principal/assistant principal did not follow up on any of it, and were annoyed at our persistence after our children were assaulted multiple times. Over the last couple of years, the talk around town has even been that parents could tell which kids were from this elementary school versus the other, by watching the children's show of respect.
