I would not recommend this school. The staff are aggressive and rude. If you are not a nuclear family, white, and wealthy, expect to have a rough time. The teachers do put their heart into their lesson plans for the most part. The school is clean. Not many enrichment activities.

We originally chose Heritage for our child based upon their strong scholastics and while Heritage certainly excels in this area, there are many more aspects of this High School that one should research and consider before enrolling their child at Heritage.If your child has any special needs, need counseling advice, has a 504 or IEP, please consider a different school for your child. The teachers at Heritage are great however the administration is not. There is little support at Heritage for both students and parents. They will bully you into doing what is convenient and suits their agenda versus what is best for your child.

After 3 years at Wilder, I would not recommend it. Teachers are a very mixed bag here; some love teaching all children, while others clearly picked the wrong career. They are overly strict about family rules, if you are not a nuclear family, expect to have a rough time. Most of the parents like to flaunt wealth, the school has a ridiculous annual auction at the country club. There has been a decrease in fundraisers overall through the year. Students are taught that kids in Denver are poor, and emphasizes an entitlement culture. There is not enough parking and the surrounding streets are destroyed from buses. There are some teachers out front for drop off but not in all locations. This makes drop-off difficult and some tardiness is expected.

Great school! Teachers and administration are wonderful, and facilities are very nice! One of the few schools in the Denver Metro offering Orton Gillingham which makes it really stand out. The teachers, principal and all the staff supporting have gone above and beyond with our children. We feel blessed to be at this school!
