Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from May 09, 2023
As the driveway gate closes, an unexpected, verdant oasis of abundance unfolds before you. A shrouded park-like setting of indigenous trees, expansive lawns, and beautifully designed hardscapes envelope this custom-built ranch on nearly an acre of privacy and seclusion. Babbling in the distance, a water feature tumbles gently over boulders and echoes tranquility throughout the grounds. A covered deck provides over seven hundred square feet of outdoor living space and serves as an exceptional backdrop for gatherings with friends and family or for stolen moments of peace and stillness. An extra-large hot tub beckons with promises of relaxation and everyday luxury. Inside, a sprawling open concept floorplan resonates with its natural surrounds. Designed for elegance and comfort, the rooms flow effortlessly between the needs of daily life. Solar tube skylights and a panoramic ten-foot window in the great room infuse natural light and usher in perpetual views of the backyard. A vaulted fifteen-foot ceiling, hickory cabinetry, continuous hardwood floors, and two fireplaces (one gas, one wood-burning) repeat the calming mantra of this personal sanctuary with an indoor connection to nature. Accordingly, the main floor master suite opens directly to a private patio and showcases a spa-like, five-piece en suite bathroom complete with heated floors, deep soaking tub, and steam shower with travertine tile. An owned photovoltaic solar system and 220v car charging station further deepens the integral relationship with the environment. If this private haven wasn’t enough, it’s just minutes to Glen Creighton Park, Crown Hill Lake, Morse Park, Paramount Park, and Discovery Park; neighborhood happenings include everything from annual holiday events to casual happy hours, art walks, and acoustic concerts in the parks. Offering an idyllic setting for exceptional living: refuge, renewal, and refinement – all right there at your fingertips.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLack of security & concerns of comprehensive learning, my son went off school grounds & was playing poker with his friends at the abandoned gas station near by, they told me they didn't have enough security to patrol the area to make sure students make it back to class. The next week the principal sends out a mass email complaining about the parents not sending their kids to school for health reasons which violates colorado law. You're asking a lot of this community, when in fact you should be helping parents feel more secure about sending them to a safe learning environment that cares about their health regardless if it medical or mental. Yall should be ashamed of yourselves worrying more about your numbers and looking good on paper.Parent Review4mo ago - Slater Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was extremely disappointed with this school. The quality of the education my child received was what I would consider extremely lacking. Firstly I am one of those parents that does not understand why someone would become a teacher or principal and start having babies. I understand they have the best maternity leave of any job. On the flip side when you work with extremely young children, constant change throughout the year is disruptive to their learning processes. Just a thought that maybe if a job is for maternity leave, they should constantly working with middle or high school kids. While my child was here not only did the principal have maternity leave but so did my child’s kindergarten teacher. That disruption with her teacher created massive issues at home. My kiddo does not take well to constant change. Secondly, I understand the extra precautions for Covid. Every morning I give my child and immunity drop. Not a cough drop but an immunity drop. I have done this since she’s been old enough to have a piece of her candy in her mouth. I get a call from the school 20 minutes after I drop her off saying oh you need to come pick her up because she has a cough drop. I said it was the last of immunity drop and it was not a cough drop and my child is very aware of what they are!!!! She’s in kindergarten she has not had a cough or a fever, for goodness sakes she’s not even had any mucus coming out of her nose. They still made me come pick her up. The only good thing about the school was the after school program at kidsmart. My daughter started her new school being behind, despite her supposedly doing well on the testing here. Really makes a parent start questioning the process. She has been making extremely large learning strides at her new school. I blame Slater for slowing her education and am thankful to her new school for giving her the extra guidance to get her caught up.Parent Review2y ago - Creighton Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school sucked. It is the most racist, homeophobic schools ever as of 2024. A kid once stole a water fountain from this school last year, that was pretty funny.Student Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 1841 Garland Street.
