4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGCHS has amazing teachers across all content areas, and it is clear that all students are valued by the staff, not just the "smart" kids. We always felt welcome to participate in school events and activities. High school is filled with conflict, yet Central has done a good job of keeping drama to a minimum and instead focuses on students preparing for life academically and socially.Parent Review13y ago - Heath Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLook elsewhere even if it's inconvenient. This school does not care about your child. The bullying that goes on there is horrible and it's from both the staff and students towards other students. The staff picks who they're going to pick on for the year. They have not worked with me or their mother, the staff acts like they rule the world. My kids have had nothing but bad times while they were there and they will not be getting my 3rd child. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS SCHOOL!!!!Parent Review2mo ago - Scott Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has become a joke! I have had several of my kids go through Scott and over the years I have seen the lack of care of student well-being go down the drain. I saw my youngest child get bullied several times, and when I asked if the teacher did anything, they would but had no support from the top people running the school! The teachers look tired and stressed and unhappy, yet I see they do what they can for my kids. I am disgusted with how the principal has run things, from what I understand and even saw the bullies are not punished and it makes the kids not doing anything wrong feel miserable. Its disappointing that the school that used to care about the community has let down the families so much!Parent Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 1318 33rd Ave.

"Dog owners would not like that People don’t pick up their dogs poop when taking them out and there are signs in people’s yards asking not to let dogs pee in the grass "

"As long as they pick up after their pets, I feel they would be fine in any neighborhood. There is alot of people with money her so that means that lawn care providers spray lawns and dont always place signs that lawns were just treated. There are a bunch of puppies so parco has been an issue. That what I've seen living here for 8 years plus."

"It’s a quiet neighborhood close to everything you need. Two grocery stores are within walking distance as well as many restaurants and a gym. It’s located by a school though I’ve been told it’s pretty rough there. Great location during the 4th of July. Can walk or drive right over to where they’re shooting off the fireworks. During the winter, it’s relatively quiet and not much neighborhood togetherness but people are typically pretty friendly. There is glass on the street. I suspect from drinking the night before. It’s safe, but I wouldn’t let kids play outside by themselves... "
