6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSad excuse for a school. I was a student here, and I was struggling. I needed additional support and instead I was met with constant judgement and criticism by the administrators and the teachers. Eventually, going to this school made me extremely depressed and anxious. It got so bad that I eventually stopped going. Instead of reaching out to try and help they unenrolled me from school without notice to my parent. Instead I was written off as a problem/menace they were happy to be rid of. The staff that worked there should really be ashamed of themselves. As an Educator it is our duty to treat every child with respect and support their needs to help them be successful. This "problem child" has received a Bachelor's in education and is working on their Masters. One good thing came out of it I suppose, my drive to create an inclusive, respectful community of learning. Take a minute to evaluate yourself, are you really helping these children. "Problem" behaviors often indicate that something is significantly wrong in a child's life, not that they are a bad person.Other Review1y ago - Riffenburgh Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur two kids (grades 1 & 3) started at Riffenburgh in 202, right in the middle of the Covid pandemic. Not gonna lie, the first few months of school were challenging, but the teachers and staff went to every extra length to make even the biggest challenges a learning experience. Now that kids are back in full-time, I couldn't be more pleased with Riffenburgh. My kids have amazing, personable teachers who really go the extra mile for their learning (one child is on the gifted spectrum and needs more challenging work, my other child requires extra reading and math support). In both cases, each kids' needs are catered to accordingly. I won't name names, but one daughter has a first-grade teacher who should get a massive gold trophy on her shelf for how much she has done not only for my child, but the whole class. My kids go to school happy, feeling loved and appreciated, and are getting an excellent education. Wonderful place.Parent Review3y ago - Lesher Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve had children at Lesher for the past five years. I can honestly say that each year has gotten worse. And after the 2022 school year we decided to pull our child from this school. The amount of bullying my child received last year was totally unacceptable. Administration didn’t care. 504 plans aren’t followed. I constantly had to remind teachers of my child’s accommodations. Our new school has been like a night and day difference, and even though this is our neighborhood school, my younger children will not attend Lesher. I hope the new administration steps up and does something about the bullying and harassment of students and starts holding teachers accountable to following 504 plans and IEPs.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 1618 Edora Rd.

"The best neighborhood I’ve lived in! Friendly people who build community, kids of all ages who love getting to know each other (and look out for each other), fruit trees, dogs, bikes, playgrounds, parks…. just a great place to live and raise kiddos! "

"I'm just visiting friends, but each time we've visited, winter or summer, the yards are immaculately maintained, no excessive cars parked on the streets, no dogs excessively barking or dog waste in yards. Overall, appears to be a great neighborhood to live and I haven't heard our hosts ever express any issues living here, only positive things. I think it would be a great place to live, either with a family, a young couple starting out, or empty-nesters. 👍A+"

"Being in old town almost every major Fort Collins event is within about a ten minute walk. Tour de fat, taste of Fort Collins and bohieman nights are all in this neighborhood. Not to mention CSU football and all the bars and restaurants old town has to offer. It’s a great place to rent"

"This neighborhood is next to CSU it has great college energy. This just about every kind of restaurant you could want within walking distance. The allies are all well maintained with interesting lighting and hanging potted flowers. There are two grocery stores with a block of my apartment. It has all the energy of a college area but as very little student housing so you don’t have to deal with that kind of drama."
